Training Manager (Bancassurance) Post Date: 29 May 09
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
SCOPE OF WORK:
Produce and implement a training and on-going development curriculum for the retail bank channel to ensure that sales staff are well trained, motivated and appropriately registered and are able to successfully work in their roles and reach their targets
RESPONSIBILLITIES
* Conducting training sessions for new recruits and motivational programs, product certifications and advanced product knowledge for all manpower in the Retail Bank channel.
* Continuously developing the training curriculum in order to support the sales objectives.
* Conducting quality control on sales processes in line with continuous improvement and compliance regulations.
* Coordinating the AAJI licensing of all sales team and liaising as appropriate with 'Person in Charge'.
GENERAL REQUIREMENT
* Minimum of 5 years experience in insurance sales, marketing or training.
* Ideally, some directly relevant experience in training or managing a sales team and with a competent track record in producing sales.
* Good knowledge of life insurance theory and products.
* A working knowledge of the retail banking environment.
* Have successfully led small and some large projects to conclusion.
* University graduate (MBA/Masters degree would be an advantage)
* Proficient in oral and written English.
