Accountant - Batam Base
Job Summary :
In charge of Batam Base's accounting and finance matters to provide timely and accurate accounting services to both internal and external parties
Key Responsibilities:
* Invoices preparation and coordination with Singapore Customer Service Department to ensure the billing information is submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
* Assist in intercompany reconciliations, payments and collection.
* Facilitate the logging, approval and payment of invoices.
* Assist in month end close of Weatherford's books.
* Facilitate tax compliance.
* Assist in financial statements analysis, including P/L analysis and self-reviews.
* Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
* Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by manager from time to time.
Requirements
Essential:
* Excellent communication in English.
* Attention to details. Good understanding of Western accounting standard – U.S. GAAP is required.
* In-depth understanding of ERP software, such as JD Edwards and Hyperion.
* Degree / Diploma in Accounting
* At least 3 years experience in finance and accounting with multinational corporations
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Ability to communicate with people at all levels
* Ability to work to tight deadline
Preferred:
* Preferred knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia.
* General understanding of the legal framework / entity of the Region.
* CPA qualified
* Preferable with experience from oilfield services industry
* Willingness to learn new skills
