CAREER OPPORTUNITY

In order to strengthening our sourcing activities, adidas Group, the world famous Sportswear Company, is seeking an aggressive and energetic individual to join our team and take the position of:


CI– Lean Consultant / Trainer     Post Date: 24 Mar 09

This position will report to Continuous Improvement Regional Head and become an expert to Lean concept & 6 sigma for all division and brands.

 

Key Responsibilities:

    *
      Manage & guide specific Lean projects within adidas' factories & divisions
    *
      Provide training & mentorship to factories and all related internal departments on Lean tools and specific projects requirements
    *
      Maintain good relationship and work together closely with all factories and division with good integrity, organizing and focusing on identifying the best practices and lean discipline in each of the key manufacturing areas
    *
      Work on specific Lean and/Six Sigma projects to increase quality & efficiency and reduction of lead times
    *
      Develop new factory tools to aid in Lean Deployment

Requirements:

    *
      Be a University graduate and engineering is preferable
    *
      Certification in Lean manufacturing or 6 Sigma is mandatory  with at least 4 years exp in Lean / 6 Sigma implementation in the field
    *
      Experience in training, consulting or working with remote factories & cultures
    *
      Possess excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
    *
      Have a strong analytical and quantitative skills
    *
      Be ready to travel on region area or overseas by assignment
    *
      Have a very good command of written & spoken English
